I've been using this 2jz map sensor for almost two years now, and it's always worked perfectly. I made 543rwhp @ 24psi with it. It worked fine in March when I dyno'd at 510rwhp @ 17psi also. This all started when I rebuilt my engine and put it back in. I'm just reusing the same 2jz 2bar map...
I'm not getting my hopes up yet. You don't know what I've been through.
New wastegate, YEAH!!! I got it fixed.............not
New intercooler pipes.YEAH!!! I got it fixed.............not
New turbo..........YEAH!!! I got it fixed.............not
New vacuum lines...YEAH!!! I got it...
It hasn't quit raining Ian or I would have tested them this evening. I haven't left the house to get a regulator either. I will try and get one tomorrow though.
My step daddy used to always tell me "Don't force it, get a bigger hammer!"
Now, I don't know what good that will do you, but I always like to pass on useful advice......:biglaugh:
Good luck Ken.
It looks like you're two hours and thirty nine minutes away.

I'll have to go check Justin, but I think they're both plumbed into the back of the manifold. I know the map sensor is, and I think the avcr boost sensor is also. I can go check right now though.
The map sensor does have a zip tie on it, but it's never felt super tight to me.
Patrick, I hope I'm around to see you finally get a win over Ryan. I think he's got a few mods in mind though so you better hurry up with yours. His future mods might give me a run for my money, but if that happens, I've got all sorts of excuses saved up.......slipping clutch, boost leaks, heard...
The only thing that I can verify at the moment is that while dynoing my car, the AVC-R never fluxuates. It never shows a loss in boost pressure, but the datalogs do.
You can have it done, but is it going to be worth it? You can buy them new from shaftmasters for around $300.00 I think. You'll have to look because I dont' remember. How much are they going to charge you to do the cutting, welding and balancing on yours?
Here's their link and it is $349.00...
Haters!!!! We'll see who gets the last laugh when it's up for Best movie of the year and what's his name from the movie gets a freaking Oscar.........:evil2:
