You'll get better results with the Stinger, but I ran the SAFCII for almost two years and it worked fine, not perfect, but good enough for me at the time.

They're alright for like one of your first mods, but you will eventually get rid of it for a better tuning device probably. I used one for about two years before I went with a full standalone. A wideband will be a good thing to have although I never had one with my safcII. I always had mine...

You shouldn't have that tough a time wiring up a fan. I don't know for a fact, but it's probably only got two wires on it. I'm sure you can find some info on it with a little searching though. Good luck and welcome.
