^ That writeup is for rewiring your stock N/A tach to work, but if you get a turbo tach, (or just that PC board, it will bolt right up to your existing tach face, and function properly. :)...

If you're saying that your spark plugs were saturated in oil, that's not bad rings. That's bad cam cover gaskets.
And Restore is junk. It's a snake oil. Read up on it in our Oil and lubrication section.
Pull the plugs and see if you can turn it over by hand.
I just hate the progressively wound spring as a whole. I like twitchy handling, but I went off of other's reviews, several years ago when I bought them. If only I knew then what I know now...
Currently, my choice is custom coilovers. (Which I will be having Tim at T.I.P. engineering build for me)
Joe and tj bring up interesting points. It would be easy to mod the Lexus, should I ever decide to do so...
