in some test the k&n came in second in flow and filtration. first was.....blitz i think? anyone got the article?
theres nothing wrong with k&n filters. they filter and flow very well (proven, go find the article your self). the oiling problem is only a problem if you OVEr oil it.
yeah i have ALWAYS wondered about that.... why did toyota put those there? they knew do luck was going to engineer something like that?
has TRD ever offered anything like the rear floor bar?
nash, if you want to experiment with a known bad AFM electronics module ive got one that you can have. just pay pal me the cost of shipping and ill send it your way.
mechanical autometer boost gauges are known for doing that. mine tends to do it if i dont boost all day. if i boost a lot the next day it kind of goes back to where its supposed to be.
? that type of clamp was all over on my completely STOCK 86.5.
that looks like it could be the fuel return, did you bypass the jtube and leave the other line there?
also, whatever it is it dosnt belong snaked inbetween the steering.
it would cause the car to run like garbage. since you said it happend while you you were boosting and is still doing it, im still gonna have to go with boost leak... look harder.
clear codes, drive the car again and pull codes again and post back.
while its idling unplug the AFM. if it idles good with it unplugged but idles like shit with it plugged in, the AFM is bad. i would still go check for a boost/vacuum leak. all ic hoses and vacuum lines.
