MAKE SURE you securely block that line off, you dont want fuel vapors in your engine bay.

yes it can. take it out along with its bracket, block off the line coming from the gas tank, and drill a hole in the gas cap. simple.

uhhhh...... the point of pulling the EFI fuse is to cut power to the ecu which causes the stored codes to be lost. :icon_conf

yeah but it shouldnt pop up again if youve fixed it, even if you havent cleared the codes. the car should run fine aswell. it will be stored however.

there is a short some where causing the knock sensor to malfunction, hence the ECU throwing the error code. you have to fix this buy rewiring the sensor so there is no short.

its no fun :( youre better off taking the intake manifold and everything else off to get it out of the way. even if you get it out without taking everything apart, you have little chance of knocking the new one in there correctly with all that stuff in your way. ask me how i know.
