heh yes, this does have NO effect on performance. the ONLY reason to do it is to clean up the engine bay, thats the reason i did it.

err you want to BLOCK OFF that line, fuel vapors near heat and possible source of sparks = very bad.
drilling a hole in the cap will not throw a cel. every vehicle, boats included which do not have to meet emmissions standards use vented caps to keep their tanks from deforming.

currently: shitty pioneer 41/2 speakers all around.
there is a short some where causing the knock sensor to malfunction, hence the ECU throwing the error code. you have to fix this buy rewiring the sensor so there is no short.
its no fun :(
youre better off taking the intake manifold and everything else off to get it out of the way.
even if you get it out without taking everything apart, you have little chance of knocking the new one in there correctly with all that stuff in your way.
ask me how i know.
my walbro didnt even need zip ties, with the rubber grommet thing (which they provide new with the pump) on the bottom it fit just like the stock pump.
