its justa hose barb for the turbo coolant lines. ive heard when people block them there car over heats, i dont know why or how true that is. if it were me personally i would just connect them to each other so everything still flows the way it was ment to.

probably not. but if you got a motor with perfect compression numbers, its not too bad......although for 2k you can have your motor rebuilt anyway so... then again, many things can go wrong with a rebuild....so.............. heh, just another option for us. its nice to have choices.
