Whatcha want for the VSV and the TEMS buttons? I wish you were going to be in the MKII - I  the pics and wanted to see it up close.

    LOUISVILLE MEET Oct 14

Steve - I will get rid of that damn CEL one way or another, so plan on me to dyno. Are we talking the entire group meeting at Mc D's at 9am, or the dyno group starting early at the dyno location (which I forgot)?

    LOUISVILLE SUPRA MEET

Hey, I need a couple of minor parts if anybody has them to sell me at the meet: 1) I think I need the tail light relay, because the warning light is on and there are no lights out at all. 2) The next is the VSV (I think it is) on the firewall, behind the charcoal canister for the...

    Rosie attacks the second amendment

No, I don't think so. What good is it to put a bandaid on a tumor? It might look good, but doesn't do a thing. I think a good start is in looking at how kids are raised today. I am doing my absolute damnest to instill the values in my children that will keep them from ever wanting to harm...

    Rosie attacks the second amendment

Cryo, I don't want this to sound like a flame, but come on. Rosie's assertion that gun violence can only be minimized through stricter gun laws is the same old crap that the left constantly spews. It lacks in originality, wisdom, and certainly common sense like most of what the left believes...

New spark plugs after water in the valley?

Good point koulee. The last thing I want to do is take a chance on any permanent damage. I have a few days until the Louisville meet, so I guess I'll pick up a new set. Any suggestions on the best brand?

New spark plugs after water in the valley?

I went to pick up my car from the paint shop after her new colors and tinting were finished and she ran like complete shit. No question there were less than 6 cylinders firing, and I saw water in the battery pan and on the AC compressor. I turned around, brought her back, and told them to make...

    Ice cream flavor of choice?

There's an icecream parlor in Stillwater, Mn (Nelson's) that has the best Rum Cherry. They give you the BIGGEST freaking piles of ice cream I've ever seen on a cone, and that's just a single scoop. Graeter's Toffee Chip comes in a close 2nd.

    addicted to SM

I leave SM up in the background and check the forums off and on throughout the day, and a couple of times every evening. Business travel screws up my SM routine. Yeah, I'm addicted.

    LOUISVILLE MEET Oct 14

Better idea: Strap that widescreen to the top of your Supra and head up! We can set it up next to the fire pit in my back yard. :biglaugh:

    LOUISVILLE MEET Oct 14

We might be neighbors, but I've only seen one other MKIII around and it's a white package. McDonald's is about 4 miles and the dyno location is about 2 from my place. I would host the post Fun Run thing, but I've got less TV then you, Steve - 27" is the biggest screen in the house. :nono:

Lunch time -- Charcoal it is.

Why are Americans cooler then Canadians?

Can't give it to you for beer, Soup. Canadian beer = skunky, although it's true that American beer is seriously weaksauce - good microbrews excluded, of course. The hands down beer winning country is Belgium, pure and simple. The trappist monks worked beautiful miracles in making their...

    Window Tinting - Input Needed

Today my baby gets some window tinting after I pick her up from the paint shop. I talked with the tinting place and have two options, both Global Window Films: 1. Charcoal - Standard Dye based 20% @ $119 w/ lifetime warranty 2. Performance - Metal based 20% @ $175 w/ lifetime warranty...

how many are running stock HG's?

Check out Suprahero's car. He's run 405 whp on a stock HG with ARP's for a while now, and he's planning on making a 6 hour trip to Louisville with it this weekend for another few dyno pulls. IDK what he's boosted, but 405 is pretty damn good power on a stocker.

    What's a good job?

TONY! has it right. Best bang for the buck is waiting tables at a 'decent' restaurant. The nicer the place the better, but some areas won't let you be a waiter until a certain age due to alcohol sales.

    I hate being gullible.

Wrong again. It's Dumas (doom-ahss). You would be correct in believing that, because my screen name clearly states that's what I am. However if you suspend disbelief that I'm a dumbass, then you would replace it with belief that I am one. Therefore you should not suspend your disbelief...

YOU are gullible DT and Tanya. Hehe. :biglaugh: I wrote that tongue in cheek. That's why the ;) was there.

    I hate being gullible.

FYI - it's spelled "gullable". Not with an "i". ;)
