A friend of mine and I shot two racoons years ago - both of us with .22's. It took MULTIPLE shots to take them down. They are a lot tougher than I ever expected, and I don't think I would try it with that small of a weapon again.

I agree with you 100%, Fuzz. My daughter drives a 240sx, but I don't let her near my Supe. The Nissan is a good experience in rwd cars, but boost + anything but perfect road conditions = disaster in unexperienced hands. It's just not a good idea for a first car.

I killed a skunk at point blank range with a 12 gauge when we walked up on each other in a field during a pheasant hunt in S Dakota. He scared the shit out of me, so I jumped back and just kind of instictively shot from the hip and blasted a big stinky hole in him. I wouldn't recommend it.
