It really all depends on how/what you're going to use a gun for.
For target shooting at reasonably short ranges, a .22LR is kick ass. 75-100 yards max. Beyond that the high rate of bullet drop gets hard to compensate for.
If you like shooting out to 600+ yards like I do, you need something a...
He was very apologetic, admitted fault at the scene to the cop (dumb move on his part, good for us) and was ticketed for failure to yield.
He was looking the other way, trying to beat a dump truck.
Theresa spun a full 450 degrees and wound up pointing a the right hand curb...
The cop gave...
Hard to go wrong with a Ruger 10/22 - it's a good gun with a long history. It will be very cheap to shoot and it's a reliable weapon.
I don't know anything about Kanadian law, you'll have to get that info from some others.
http://www.cfc-cafc.gc.ca/default_e.asp is probably a good place to...
Yea, I let her drive the MKIII home and I drove Damien.
He drives pretty normal all things considered.
His alignment is definitely off. I'm not sure what's causing the camber/toe in. Suspension arms all look straight - frame might be tweaked.
Not sure what's bent up yet.
Theresa was just coming home from picking up a few things from the grocery store, and this dumbass in an SUV pulled out without looking, tagged her in the right rear quarter panel and spun her completely around. :(
She loves this car more than some people love their spouses... Damien did a good...
The screws were used to prevent over torquing. Replacing them with bolts is unnecessary and ill advised unless you are going to use an in/lb torque wrench to tighten them.
You can get a new set of screws/washers from Toyota - If I remember correctly they are cheap.
The only ones I am aware of are:
Kumho Ecsta V710 in 295/40/17
Kumho Ecsta XS in 295/35/17
Hoosier A6 in 295/35/17
Hoosier R6 in 295/35/17
Of them, the Ecsta XS is the only street tire. All the others are treadless or near treadless R compound.
Now to be fair, I run Victoracer V700's...
That sounds about right. We ran the 80mm version of that Borg Warner turbo in my drag car @ 1,339 RWHP and 959 RWTQ. We were at 40 psi with n02 helping the spool, but no spray past the 60' mark.

If you can achieve this consistently what IJ said is right.
Are you willing to do this as a paid service? Or is this just one of those fringe benefits of the job you can't abuse?
We kind of have to have a drivetrain expert before we can create a forum for them...
Perhaps you are missing the point of the SME forums - they are the forums run by Subject Matter Experts in that particular area.
I moved this thread from the Engine Internals SME's forum, as this is outside...
Correct. High performance tires don't do well in the snow. If you run 275/285's in the rear like I do, they act like snowshoes. They put you on top of the snow, not on the road.
This would be a good snow tire on stock buzzsaws...
This is what they make electronic boost controllers for.
Turn down the boost.
When I rains I turn the EBC off in MKIII and drive on the wastegate.
No sense in making 20 psi in a rainstorm...
In general, all Supra's suck in the snow - it's the nature of the beast.
