NAPA sells a threaded flange that'll work just fine. It looks like the one in the pic above, but IIRC it's thicker. I have one somewhere, but who the crap knows where. LOL.
Nothing compares to a good tubular manifold though. And there's another that wasn't mentioned, log style. :runaway:
No, I do not endorse log style manifolds, I was just stating that they do exist for our cars.
If I were you, I'd replace every bushing on the car, then do suspension. Search in the reference/tech tips section for a post by Jeff Lange. He has the door tag/under hood tag codes written down for LSD's and open diffs.
An easy way to tell would be to look at the back of the diff; if it's...
I'm assuming it's not an authentic Stout hood?
Search for pics of the old CFX hoods. Perfect fit every time. They were/are incredible if you can find one. THAT is how a CF hood should fit.
The M50 and M52 are fantastic for boost. Lots of guys opt for those when they plan to turbocharge. They're very, very stout!
Agreed on the rear windows, I just wish they were powered! (and it's a PITA to power them. :()
Edit: arizzle beat me to it.
Hellz yeah. Basically, most of them tend to put some ARP 2000 studs on, a .140 MLS headgasket to drop compression a bit, and slap on the turbo parts along with a chipped tune from TRM (OBD1 only), and boost away!
Pretty neat, huh?
Yikes! Maybe you should buy her an M3, but modify it so heavily that she won't be able to drive it. LOL. ;)
They sure do, see below.
So, comin' to NY anytime soon? LOL
So here's basically what I'm going for, but I'll have quicker spool than this dude, as I'm going w/ a tubular T4...
Easy is a relative term. If you have access to a press, yes, it's easy. I personally think it's an easy job, but I also have all the right tools for the job at my disposal. ;)
Guys, I deleted all the posts that aren't really relevant to the thread; especially since they had no pics. Please keep conversation to an absolute minimum. Thanks.
1) You want to Turbo. ;) 2) I'm pretty sure its 3100lbs. I don't see why the regular e36 would be much lighter?
I'm in! LOL.
LOL, agreed!
Bastages! LOL, that's pretty good!
Pressure plate bolts are one time use, as are the flywheel bolts. They're cheap from the dealership, I bought a handful of them last time I needed them. But I'll be damned if I remember where I stashed them. LOL.
Yeah, so my sister bought a Macbook pro a while back. It has no CD/DVD tray, but rather a slot that you just stick the cd/dvd into. She helps promote a lot of local bands and has a really nice video camera that uses mini DVD's.
Does anyone know of an adapter to get the mini dvd's to work in...
