I didnt pull the motor. We just took the head off and I didnt clean it but I will when I get home. I will also do a compression check after I retorque my head. No vac leaks that i could tell most of the lines are brand new. But I do think it might be leaking from the upper intake manifold gasket.
Ok I have a 1988 toyota supra 7mgte I just put a Titan Motor Sports 1.4mm MHG on it. The car use to have idleing issues before it warmed up. Once it reached operating temp it would idle just fine. Now it idles very rough once it hits operating temp and not at all when its cool. It usually tries...
I can understand the first few posts but that last one was just fucking rediculous theres absolutely no fucking reason to rub it in. I appoligize for my mispelling im not even going to bother next time... If it was poking fun I'd expect a haha or lol behind it
What are you talking about. Thats exactly what I said. I was just on my way out the door. I was typing to fast and wasnt paying attention to my spelling... Another classic example of supramania members being assholes....
Theres a back platebehind the cams that has a notch. Line the lines on the cams with the notches on your back plate and that will be TDC. Also you will want to make sure the cam is lined up with the middle dow on the cam itself and the crank gear should be straight up and down
Depending on what your setup's going to be you might consider a 57 trim over 60-1. There way more relible. We're you letting the turbo cool down everytime before shutting off? If not that could be your problem.
wow since when did everyone on supra mania turn into an asshole... I'm not even gona bother its not my car anyways... By the way its common sense if the cars sat for 2 years to drain the tank and replace it and all the above has been done thought that was just a standard tune up...
Replaced fuel pump, Fuel presure regulator, Fuel pulsation dampiner, Tested fuel pressure and its fine, Swaped mafs. Thats it. Its not throwing any type of code
matt
