Have the car painted, then if you decide you don't like the way the badges look painted, then lightly sand them by hand with 400grit attached to a small sanding block. Paint them carefully by hand with something like testors model paint. GrimJack did this some time ago and his came out great.

NO, plenty will go wrong if you use water and water alone for any extended period of time. what worries me is There's more than two hoses on this car. There are two notorious hoses, but there are a total of like 8 heater hoses IIRC. Make sure the small 90* one at the back of the head...

How hard is the wiring to change? It's somewhat involved, you'll need to cut the original wire and splice in the new wire 3" from the connector, then run the new wires into the cabin through the existing harness' grommet. Inside the cabin, you need to pull the glovebox out, and unbolt the ECU...

I just bring my used oil to work with me. We've got waste oil heaters and they actually thank me for bringing it in. Find a garage that has a waste oil heater. They'd be glad to take your oil. Unless of course, you're in SoCal, then you'd be hard pressed to find a waste oil furnace...

I did it for cleanliness, and read at the time that it was the way to go. I personally, don't like the clutch fan, but if I have to run it, I guess I'll have to get serious about an idea I had a while ago and try to get Duane to produce a CF fan shroud once the CF supply surfaces.

Yeah, get some pics with a good (5.0mp) camera on Macro and post 'em up. If they're as good as rakkasan says, you should have no problem getting a good one as a replacement.

Don't just bondo it shut... you'll regret it sooner than you think. Do it once, do it right. Weld steel in the gap and fill the small gaps with bondo. If you do it REALLY good, you can just weld the steel in, grind, sand and paint. No bondo necessary.

Always hand tight. If you had that filter relocated, you wouldn't have this problem ;)
