If the shop is reputable enough, you shouldn't have any problems. If they do not have a torque plate for the 7M, and look at you like a puppy when you ask about RA values, move along.

OT probably, but how do the fittings on the valve covers come out? I want to put AN fittings on the valvecovers in their place..

Seriously, just put in a stock 7MGE auto or 5spd. it will be plenty quick enough for a DD and reliable enough as well. You can always NA-T it in the future if you want something more unreliable. ;)

Yeah that's what it is. Honestly, it's an inline 6. nothing but smooth noises coming out of this engine. there will be no honda sound, just smooth 7M. Put whatever muffler looks good to you. IMO get a Magnaflow dual tip. It will look stock and perform great.

Great, now I want to have AC... it's starting to get warm here and the thoughts are a-brewin about reinstalling it with the rest of the car.... Do I dare? I may....

This thread confuses me. Somehow teh museum/birdcage is related to the power steering pump, then the alternator, but now it's better, but you might need a water pump? ::grabs skull:: owie!
