Why a stock CT if you're building the engine up? It's not the engine that's the problem then, it's the turbo that'll give up the ghost.

I did, and I wouldn't recommend it. Over time, the grommet tore like a 2" slit in it. If at all possible, try to slide it through the existing hole. You should be able to do that, as it's pretty strechable. You'll need a buddy to hold the grommet open enough to slide the wires through.

IIRC KNK2 is the rear, but you really only need to know this if you're anal. the outcome is the same regardless of which one reads a knock.

lol.... That's certainly not a boost leak. Boost = Positive manifold pressure. What he has, if it is post AFM, is an unmetered air leak. Cracked accordian I'd suspect, but from what I gathered, his filter fell off, so we shall see.
