You know the bolt that clamps it together rides in a channel, and interferes with the shaft, right? You NEED to remove the bolt completely to slide the shaft off of the column. After you remove the bolt, the shaft should slide off easily, or require slight tapping. not "hammering" or...

A good AW11 is not cheap... They get ok gas mileage i suppose, but it'll just turn into another project.

Can I stand my father? Absolutely. We're much of the same. I see where I get my goofyness, and we get along fantastically. I can't imagine going very long without speaking with him or seeing him at all.

Please.... You just looked at the pictures? You should have read the posts he made, because he clearly stated that he did NOT use fog lights. He used Hella 90mm DOT housings.
