Sorry, I have no solution for ya. Just by looking at it I can't tell anything besides it seems to be something in/on the pressure plate, and I don't have the time to tear the whole thing down to see exactly what the problem is, all I can say is that it still works perfectly, just clicks sometimes.
Yep, I was going to do a real thorough wash on mine but seeing as how it is periodically raining I think I might just give it a good rinse before I go. The place isn't that hard to get to, you might drive by it by the time you realize its the place... I know I did it almost every time I'd be...
I didn't say water didn't lower the boiling point. If the brake fluid absorbs less of the water that gets its way into the system, there are "puddles" of water. Water boils at 212* regardless of what the brake fluid's boiling point is, on top of providing no corrosion resistance or lubrication...
The more water it absorbs the less you should have to bleed/flush, because the water will not be pooling and causing corrosion.
Vacuum bleeders are not a very good method as you can introduce air into the system and may never get it all out with one.
Should be good to go, if it does keep coming back there could be a leak somewhere but as long as everything it working right you'll be fine.
One thing to note, once you fill it, there is no need to open the radiator cap. The more you simply leave it alone (watch the overflow level of course)...
I see no need to. I have never "burped" my car before, it always evacuates all the air in the system quite well all by itself. Just make sure you keep your overflow bottle full.
BTW, I see you're from Jersey, depending on where you are and if you're interested my buddy (EdgeSupra) is having a...
It should clear itself out fine if its air in the system. When my heater kicked in the 1st time a little while ago I got a little waterfall too, but since then I have yet to hear it again.
How often do you drive it?
OK, well I have a plan. I didn't realize that the vent has a valve on it that prevents liquid fuel from escaping through it which makes it MUCH easier since I don't need to worry about keeping the vent tube above the highest it could fill with fuel. Maybe that will be the project for this weekend...
