Maybe a status update would help here. This thread seems to go dormant, then come alive every so often. Is the offer for real? If so, when do you think you will start taking orders. What's the procedure?
I didn't see anything in Misc Vendors, so I assume this is still theoretical at this...
I think that looks like the A/C shorting pin. It is normally plugged into the A/C system as shown below.

It will most likely be flat, but you will have grooves etched into the block where the six gasket fire rings sit. Also, the area around each bolt hole will be pulled up about a mil.
Forget the MHG if you aren't willing to prep the block.
If your Centech is like the fine one I just pulled out of my drawer :aigo: , then set it to 2000m, that should read in millivolts from 0 to 2000. Your OX should be swinging from 200 to 800 on the meter.
You remove enough material to meet the flatness spec for the head and block. You cannot predict the amount, since it depends on how flat those two surfaces are and there is no way to know that until you pull it apart.
To find out how much has been removed from the head, measure from the deck...
Centech, yuk! I got one of those as a freebie at a conference I went to. I compared it to my Fluke and it was way off on current measurements. Its probably okay for voltage though. In any case, its good enough for seeing cross counts.
Its an interesting problem.
The Vf shows all is normal...
Damn! I am asleep at the wheel on this one, and there goes my rep!
Okay, its not running rich, and pulling the booster hose will not help anything. Disregard my post, it is worthless advice.
What kind of meter are you using?
Here is what I suggest,
If you use the Vf1 signal (T jumpered), you say it reads rich at idle (5V), then pulling off the brake booster hose should make it go lean (0V).
If you use the OX signal, it should be reading 800mV (rich) at idle, and go to...
Possible intake leak making it run lean.
I would do the usual checks for the ECU. Gives us the Vf voltage, and make sure that the O2 sensor is cross counting.

What is gained over the stock alarm when installing one of these?
I understand the value of the remote entry, remote start, pager, and so on. But the basic alarm functionality, triggers, and so on... is it any different than stock?
You think I made that up?
Just go to your DMV site. Or look up the federal register for the Truth in Mileage Act.

Talk about thread derailment... Wow!
Here is a nice source of aluminum pipes (up to 7" for those who want lots of HP or is that torque... :icon_wink ). Courtesy of Dr. J's website.

Toyota wants badly to overtake GM. To do this they are systematically taking cost out of every piece of their cars. The JZ engines are history because they only fit in two platforms, both front-engine rear wheel drive and that is not cost effective. The replacement GR engines fit in every 6...
I think the backup lights are yellow and red/black (at least they are on my 90). The ABS is yellow, red/black, blue/yellow and black.
That connector doesn't look familiar. Could it be something aftermarket?
The only pink wire I can think of is the speed sensor from the speedometer.
