    7M won't start, bad starter?

Check the fuseable link/alt fuse and the 40a am1 fuse. http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TEWD/MK3/manual.aspx?S=Main&P=038 Also check the starter relay. Can also take 12v from the battery and apply it to the small connector on the starter. If it works your starter is fine.

    Random lean?

It's not at all accurate. It's only tells you whether the Ecu should add fuel or take it away. Doesn't say by how much or what the actual afr is. Just a light that says its might be lean. Innovate wide band kit is somewhere between 109-169. And your car is not running fine if you have knock...

    Random lean?

First ditch the narrow band gauge and get a real wideband setup. Second fix all your codes.

    rebuilt engine timing issue.

You need adjustable cam gears. Can't just move them on the timing belt. And the cps gear turns when you slide it in so it is prolly off one tooth.

    rebuilt engine timing issue.

Need to degree the cams and have adjustable cam gears. Also the cps might not be in the right spot.

Best to match port the intake side of the head along with manifold and gasket. Porting and polishing would be good gains too.

Reassembly of Block Front and rear covers.

Well if he took it in with everything attached they would have pulled everything off and stuck it in a bag. What I'm wondering is if the rear timing cover was machines with the block if he decked the surface.

    What plugs are these?

What connectors are on the harness? M1 is for ma70 chassis. Ij1 is for soarer harness. There isn't too many wiring diagrams for the chaser harness. Best bet it to look at the pinout like this. http://m167.photobucket.com/albumview/albums/ajazyasin/1JZpinout.jpg.html?o=731 Then look at the...

    What plugs are these?

Looks like a chaser harness. If the harness was missing 2 plugs its from a chaser. That's how mine was. Soarer has all the plugs. Aristo is 2jz. Just use the soarer pinout and run the wires you need on those 2 plugs on the right.

2jzge intake and exhaust valves ?

Not pnp. There about 1.5mm bigger. Head would have to be cut for it and thats at the higher end of what can be machined. Length would have to be checked as well. That could get expensive too. Turbo would be a better route, or just switching to a 2jzge altogether.
