Why wouldn't you just run a gte pump? It's not like you can see the hole and if there is nothing there it's not going to leak. The trigger wheel is on the crank gear for the timing belt. Also why not just use the 12 tooth gear already there?

Shouldn't matter. I've dobe it both ways. Never had a issue. Sounds like a bad caliper or the slides are dry and needs to be greased.

You have power to the injectors? Do you have a noid light?

I would the right size screamer pipe as well. I just went to a fab shop for mine.

Did the fuel pump run? If you can't hear its likely dead.

Jump fp and b+ in the diag box by the fuse box and go listen at the tank to see if you hear the fuel pump. If you do try and start it without starting fluid.

Not to mention if the Ecu was tuned for bigger injectors and more boost which would make the fuel and timing maps way off for a stock setup.

Stock 1j is batch injection with seq ignition.

There is no set standard. All depends on the turbo, turbine housing, engine size, and boost pressure.

You will need sensors for my Ecu. With megasquirt there is more options as far as what sensors you can run. But you will have to make a harness or make a patch harness. For stock harness there are some sensors that have different plugs through the years so you would have to get either the...

Doesn't matter which Ecu you will have to use the same color harness with the sensors to match the plugs. Pre89 is yellow plugs and 89+ is gray. You can switch to a standalone if you'd like. All depends on how much money you want to spend. Megasquirt is the cheapest as far as standalone a go.
