Thats very back yard engineering. I have to imagine they blocked it off to promote flow a certain way, and drilling it out will make it cool worse then it did to begin with.
You do know that the stock ECU and fuel system with ZERO modifications what-so-ever and a Lex AFM will still run at ~10.8:1 at WOT with just over stock fuel cut worth of boost... right?
^ It's funny, with the PFM's we ran it was the same situation. If the dash was left on then you had even less chance it would start even once.
But in my Supra, after sitting over night in -10F it struggled a tiny bit that morning but it was never a concern of mine for it not to start.

It's OK though, the way you responded to my comment is exactly how I would expect the normal student there to react.
