The delay will be a function of firing frequency assuming a series capacitor is the "breakthru" technology here. Any circuit simulator can help you out on details, but I'll save you some time and just tell you to save your money for something that's actually useful.
Its more a supply of raw materials than a kit. You will need to cut those pipes up to fit, add beads to the pipes, and fab mounts for everything. If that is what your after, then its a reasonable deal.
There is a trim adjustment on the speedo, but it only does a few %. As noted, the speedo drive gear needs to be swapped to match the rear end ratio and make the odometer accurate.
Here's the post showing the adjustment

My original went brittle and the plastic coating began to flake off.
I have seen a metal one available from suprasport, but it was not clear how that part addressed the various sealing requirements built in to the stock cover.
Makes sense. The reason to not use the speaker level inputs is of course to reduce distortion, but given your goals its probably not an important consideration, and will simplify the installation. In any case, you can always go back and switch to line level inputs if you find distortion a...
The signal connections on a stock Toyota head units (< model year 2004) with external amp are all single-ended and should be compatible with most 3rd party amps using RCA inputs.
Since the head unit gets its power from this connector as well, you also need to hook up the power connectors as...
Head deck to cam cover flange should be exactly 116mm on an uncut head.
Search around the block and head for numbers stamped in. Most shops will notate the amount they removed using that method.
The stock downpipe has a heatshield bolted to it for that very purpose.
The speedo cable should be held with a body clamp against the floor pan in that area.
I fabbed up simple heatshield for my downpipe to protect the speedo cable.
What is it that you want to integrate? I connected a 2000 Tundra head unit to my 1990 amp under the seat. Basically, nothing changed from 89 to 2003 except the number of unused pins in the amp connectors. You can make any pair of them interact with each other if you have the right connectors.
Bluepearl,
Not sure how you measured it, but on our wiring setups most of the loss is in the ground lead that goes from bulb to the dimmer switch. If you just measure the loss from alt to the + terminal of the bulb, you will not capture the full loss. You also need to measure the loss from...

Yup, I just took a standard m8x1.25 die and cut threads in the dowel as far as I could go, then stacked some washers around the dowel and screwed a nut down. As the dowel pulled out, I added more washers so that I didn't have to cut more...
