Block And Head Measurements

I have A 7M here that was machinied quite a long time ago and was neaver run. The engine was given to me and Has a pretty thick MHG in it, I was wondering If there were any "uncut" measurements for a 7m block and head? If so I can measure my cut block and head and figure out why it had a 3mm in it and give me some C/R numbers aswell.

Head deck to cam cover flange should be exactly 116mm on an uncut head.

Search around the block and head for numbers stamped in. Most shops will notate the amount they removed using that method.

The Block was a whole number as well from memory 198mm from deck to Main saddle? (not 100% on this sorry but I did post the spec here somewhere)
