I use a long bolt with two washers on it. Put it between the cam gears and tighten it so the washers hold each cam gear from turning. Works perfectly every time, and without air tools. Sometimes all you have to do is give the wrench a little tap with a hammer to get the bolt moving.

Yes indeedy. Fill it to full, then put another quart in. Little margin of safety there, so even if you're a quart low, you're technically full.

Correct yet again, lagged. I must also add that if it's not going in finger tight, then back it out and thoroughly clean the threads. If you have to use an allen wrench to really tighten it in there, you run the risk of cracking the block.

My 90t was a DD for the time I drove it. Bought it with ~138,000mi on it, parked it at ~175,000mi. I put those miles on the car in roughly 18 months collectively, and none of them were easy miles. It's all in keeping up with it.
