LOL, I think VIR is well known enough... Use whatever tires you have on there now only do 2-3 laps at a time. Spending less then $130 a tire for road racing is just a waste of money.

I had a Blitz cap on mine. Any Supra cap should work as long as it wasn't designed for the radiator with smaller caps.

Only thing I can think of without seeing it in person is just that you are hearing something else and calling it spark knock... in which case I'll let someone else spray random guesses at you until you fix it. :)

Spark knock... preignition? Like I said, if all else is well... clearly you have much bigger problems then just whether or not you should run a Lexus AFM. Start by checking error codes.

You should just get a new one. Even if the old one works you may wind up spending more then $75 extra on electricity faster then you expected.
