    7mge rwhp numbers

Defiant isn't turboing it because of his big head! ;) His goals used to be 300 NA hp, then a massive shot of N2O to get 500-600 out of the bastard. I think we all think he's crazy, but hey the more we say he should be boosting that motor, the more power he's going to find N/A... Hey Defiant...

    mods question

Actually, shimming the wastegate allows for more boost than a mbc. Even with my Cooleeze DP and exhaust, the ct won't make over 10 psi over 4K without shimming the gate. Even still I can't get much over 10 past 5K. Grrr.

    Please help choose a MHG!!

Anyone know of a 1.4mm headgasket? I need this thickness to obtain perfect quinch clearance on the new motor... Pistons are poking .020" over the bores, so I want ~.055" to get .035" piston to head clearance. and I'm pretty sure the closest thing to .055" is 1.4mm

What the hell is a turbonater???

You know what's funny? The turbocharger has what I would consider to be the best possible vain construction for compressing and pushing air into an engine. Even with all of the cad designed curvature, etc... the thing still has to spin at close to 50,000 rpm before it changes from being an...

    Gixxer's Rebuild....again

Gixxer I'd pull the fuel feed line from the rail, and jumper Fp and B+ on the check connecter, and spit a tank of gas into a five gallon bucket to make sure your lines aren't clogged/pinched, etc...

cylinder head porting theories... and such

Hey Fluby, you're going with a tubular manifold, so look into it. My Trust mani has ports nearly identical to the gasket size. Normaly this would mean you would need to retain the anti reversion dam in the head to maintain exhaust direction, inirtia, and velocity. However, my mani has...

    Uphosltery?

Hey Grim, I was able to slip the handle through the plastic without removing it... I disassembled 87 leather seats, so that may be where the difference is...

    Uphosltery?

It's a major Pita, but you have to remove the rear "storage pouch" from the seats, and the adjustment knob for your seatback angle is held on with a big C-clamp. Once all of the plastics are off, then you have to fight the glue that holds the fabric on. Take your time, and it should work alright.

    Just an idea

Agreed Jonez, My point was more that the question was a good question, asnd I thought I'd give a good answer rather than saying that the guy was retarded for even thinking it. I remember one time when I thought I'd wide body the car with glass and cut out the unibody..... not such a...

    T-88h and the mk3 supra

Stock fuel is best, and run regular, the detonation will help spool it sooner. ;) But on a well built engine and someone who knows what they are doing, the T-88 isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be, although I'd take a GT40 any day.
