It's all about riding safe and alert. I've taken the general and experienced riders course that's offered to civilians through the AF. They are great courses and good to go back annually to get refreshed.
I couldn't even imagine it with a yoshi exhaust. I still have the stock one which still sounds great. I just love listening to the purrrr of the engine when cruising.
On another note, Where's the rest of the bike owners?!?! Only 3 of us here with bikes?
I'm hoping to get my 1jz swap done within 2 weeks of returning. So, I'd like to drive that over. The CBR1000rr is a lot of bike. The CBR engines sound so sweet right under you when you ride. I'm sure mkiiSupraMan18 can concur on that as well.
Haha, appreciate the offer. But, I have my next door neighbor looking after it. I'm still planning on driving over to see your project when I get back if that's cool.
You should be ok with the stock disk and pressure plate with your engine being stock. You could also just get an upgraded pressure plate and use the stock disk. Get ahold of Bigaaron for that stuff. I would definitly upgrade if you plan on getting more power out of the engine.
BFH (Big Fucking Hammer) - Usually the last option to get something loose and a sigh of relief. Also, resulting in having to buy new OEM parts when the BFH did more than it's job.
Thought that I would start one of these up. Did a search and didn't see one yet. There's been a couple random motorcycle threads lately and got me thinking of how many supra owners/enthusists also own bikes. Here's what I have.
EDIT: Updated Pics
First is my old 00' ZX6R, 2nd 06'...
Never actually thought of it that way. Tools created by the evil spawn of satan if you ask me.
Ever had a "damnit tool" rebound off something. I remember I was using a rubber mallet with a wood handle and I threw it and hit the fence, head broke off the wood and came back and hit me...
I bought the Porta Torch from home depot. Haven't played with it much. Like they said, propane probably won't get hot enough to make a clean cut if even a cut at all.
