I had them on a past car and I hated it for being a DD. But, if you have high HP, then it's all good. But, yea ride in a car with them in it to decide.

The horrible vibration of the engine and parts rattling loose. I opted against the solid ones. It gets even worse when the AC is kicked on.

If you're about to go spend 10K CAD on a car, you should definitly test drive it. Hell, bring a mechanic friend on the test drive. I know I test drive all the cars I have bought in the past before I bought them. If they are going to replace the clutch at no charge, you should be good.

If you feel comfortable on the 250, I'd say you will be ok. But, just remember that is a big step in terms of power and handling. If you do get one, just take it slow and get the feel for it. And remember, if you ride with friends and they are good friends, they will wait for you at the end...
