Running dual MK4 Denso fuel pumps? Advice appreciated

I don't know much about the Frankenstein 5 20g, but I know a regular 20g wouldn't get close to 500 rwhp. What's the turbine specs? Also, for dual fuel pump setups, I'd run some type of fuel pump controller. IIRC AEM makes one that you can tell to turn on, such as 10+ PSI or above X RPMs. If you...

    '87 Drag Car 7M awesomeness

Are you going to sweep the turn on the water outlet? I'd probably put in a slight ramp so there isn't much turbulence in the water outlet. If your solidworks has a flow motion simulation, you could see how much it'll cause.

Roommate Starting to Dislike Me - My Supra is too Loud

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QdUOQaebd9Q driftmotion downpipe and driftmotion catback on a 7m with stock manifold. It purrs til you get on it, then you realize you have a full exhaust.

Highest HP on stock clutch disc + upgraded PP?

With a new pressure plate and a new stock aisin clutch disk, my clutch has never slipped. Mods are in my sig.

Where are you guys getting your used parts?

There isn't a whole lot I buy used anymore. The only thing I'd buy used is like a block or a head, maybe a transmission if mine ever destroys itself. Too much of a risk to purchase important engine components used.

    help. Dumping fuel.

Mine goes from 14.7-15.3. Check your harness out, could have a wire shorting to the tps. Its also my understanding that trying to tweak the tccs under closed loop is pointless.

    Weird boost hesitation

IIRC there isn't a 'soft fuel cut'. I'd still check for boost leaks.

    Driftmotion downpipe hitting the bellhousing?

The stock downpipe would hit as well but it has a mount welded on to keep it from hitting. You could weld a tab on to keep the downpipe a set distance from the bellhousing.

255 install now car wont rev past 2k

I'll just put this out there. If the car runs with the stock pump but doesn't run with the walbro, what do you think changes between those two situations?

255 install now car wont rev past 2k

Sounds like you either got a bad pump or you're doing the install wrong.

    Higher oil PSI?

Shim the oil pump. DM's oil pump has coating on the gears plus a shim for tighter tolerances and higher pressures.

    Free revving after a pull

It's supposed to allow a metered amount of air to be released over a period of time to keep the throttle valve from snapping shut allowing the ISCV to maintain an idle. If the filter is left off of them, they suck up trash and can get clogged allowing the throttle to stay open too long or...

    Free revving after a pull

Could be the vpv under the throttle stop.

    Weird boost hesitation

Honestly, it sounds like a boost leak.

Adjustable fuel pressure regulators: Which ones hold static rail pressure?

Fuel line coming off the fuel pump could be leaking. I installed fuel tank approved fuel line, not just fuel injector hose but the submersed fuel line.

Could of also been the return line.

Adjustable fuel pressure regulators: Which ones hold static rail pressure?

Pinched an o-ring while installing the injectors in the rail.

Adjustable fuel pressure regulators: Which ones hold static rail pressure?

I wouldn't say that. Mine holds pressure over night. Mine held pressure for over a month. Dont ask how though, its the afpr kit from driftmotion with a walbro 400.

    Understanding VF correction issue (maybe?)

IIRC the TCCS only has 8 bits of memory so not much learning correction. If your TPS needs to be adjusted what it could be doing is this, it's telling the ECU that you're not leaving idle but you're really trying to accelerate. Too far out of adjustment either way is a bad thing, it's lying to...
