    Where to get quarter panel?

You could try junkyards online. Probably your best bet would to be post in the wanted/for sale section.

Umm... Can someone please translate this into English for me?

    Resonator

Your local muffler shop should have a Magnaflow or comparable glass pack in stock. The difference between the glass pack and resonator is that the glass pack has more insulation in it. It's still a flow through design, will make the car much quieter, and you can get them in different lengths...

Loosing ALOT of oil. anyone else have this problem?

Good. Now go get a tool box to keep it all organized in(you'll fill it up eventually ;)). 2 All the bolts are easy to see, and you can move a couple things to make them easier to get to. FYI: There's 3 bolts on each runner of the Y pipe where it bolts to the intake plenum.

    Alternative intake route.

Lol, from what I've seen of Cali. mechanic's prices, I'd say that's a steal!:biglaugh: For the intake, go to the local exhaust shop and have them bend a piece of 3" to fit, drill a hole in it, and weld the little pipe from your stock one in it for the vacuum line that runs down behind the...

Loosing ALOT of oil. anyone else have this problem?

To change the valve cover gaskets, you need to move the y-pipe, throttle body, throttle linkage, and.... well, get out there with a 12mm, 14mm, 10mm(these would be wrenches and sockets), Haynes manual, and figure it out. It's not that hard, I've done mine in around an hour(including retorquing...

    7M Losing Compression

I'd most certainly rebuild it now. If it got hot enough to crack the head, then the rings and bearings are damaged. You can just slap a head on if you want to(its your car), but it won't be long before it spins a bearing or breaks a ring. Especially if your gonna be putting it through the...

    7M Losing Compression

Rebuild it. If your making a race car, you're much better off with a fresh motor anyway. Especially if you're gonna be putting a power adder (turbo, nitrous) on it.

    Converting to 7mgte electronics

Damn, wish I'd known you were looking for a harness, I have one in my parts car. It's missing the tps connector, but everything else is there. Have injectors, ecu, and dist. too... Drop me a pm if you want anything, and maybe we can work something out.

    Alternative intake route.

Little motorcycle trick for paper gaskets: Glue one side to the intake or t.b., and coat the other side with a THIN layer of antisieze. The gasket stays where you glued it when you take it apart, and the antiseize won't let it stick to the other side, thus no torn gasket.

    Alternative intake route.

It only takes what, an extra 2 min.'s to remove the t.b.? MSD makes an ignition box that will retard the timing a specified amount for you when you trigger the nitrous. You might wanna reset the fuel pressure as well if your running a wet kit. Sounds like its a little lean.

    Transmission Question!

Black a little... okay. If the bottom of the pan was coated black, or worse, silver, then you can expect a rebuild in short order. If there's a magnet in the pan(should be), how much metal was on it? Smooth coating of dust, or did it look like Don King on a bad hair day? The more black stuff...

    Transmission Question!

No, I mean there's a possibility that they're plugged up with clutch material or metal shavings. They're very fine screens, meant to catch debris in the valve body. Actually, I'm more concerned with what was in the pan. It tells a lot about the condition of your trans.

    Transmission Question!

You said that the fluid and filter were black. What did the pan look like inside? Was it coated black or silver? Did the fluid have a metallic look, like metal flake paint? Were there any metal chunks or slivers? Some domestic(Ford, iirc) torque converters have a drain plug in them; don't...

    New Dyno #'s

Actually, I tried the AFM mod. Loosened the spring 3 clicks, and drove it that way for a week. My car didn't seem to run any better, in fact, it seemed to run worse. Fuel mileage dropped considerably as well. Went from an average of 20 mpg to around 17.

    Pilot Bearing Puller?

I used a standard bearing/bushing puller, kinda like this: http://www.matcotools.com/Catalog/toolcatalog.jsp?cattype=T&cat=2394&page=2&#52313 First puller. Used it for every car I've done a clutch job on, and haven't found one it wouldn't fit in yet... You can get one at the parts store cheap...
