In the case of my cruise ECU, would you go by wire color or pin? Just curious how you'd narrow this down. I suppose I can test the circuit using my volt meter. If I get voltage at pin 11 I know it's not the right pin.
I'm wondering what the notations mean that are highlighted in yellow (for the clutch starter switch wiring system). I'm kind of assuming that if I cut the wire to pin 7 of Ignition Switch and run my own wire to the clutch start switch, then cut the wire at pin 1 of the Starter Relay and again...
I figured out that there are different cruise ECU's out there. Wonder if pin 11 is still the right one with the version I have?

Had a closer look last night and the color of the wire from the cruise control ECU is purple with a grey dash on it (pin 11). Pin 11 is one of the wires that goes to the cruise control clutch switch according to tsrm. In the diagram from Cygnus it appears to denote a different color. Anyone know...
Hi Jetjock,
Thanks for the links. I have to admit though, I'm not very good at reading these diagrams properly...maybe you can elaborate on what I think I am seeing below.
From what I can gather for the Clutch Start Switch:
-There is a Black/Yellow wire(s) (one Black, one yellow or is it 1...
Need a bit of help. I bought a '91 Supra that was converted to a 5spd transmission by the PO. I need to return the clutch safety switches back to normal for an inspection before I can license the car. The problem I'm having is am not sure how they are supposed to be wired. I have been reading a...
The Velcro worked great on my box. It keeps it in place really well but seeing as you have carpet that's out of the question now I think. You might be able to adapt something though. Maybe you can put some low profile 'feet' on it and put some Velcro pads on them.

I ended up drill two new holes to line up with the ones on the body. Worked not bad. Much better than the double sided packing tape the guy before me used anyway.

Hi guys quick Q
The metal plate between the body of the car and a five speed shifter the bolts do not line up on an automatic car. What was people's work around for this? I was going to try double sided foam tape for a temp solution. I didn't do the swap but changed gear shifter and discovered...
Found this just now...

Says 2JZ on Intake side, Corolla on exhaust side.
Looks awesome! I did the same thing with my first supra by building my own 1 cuft box for my Sony Xplode 12" sub back in the late 90's. It worked great and fit under my Targa perfectly. Where did you buy the outer coating? When I did mine I never covered the MDF (although I did paint it black)...
Sorry a bit of a thread revival here but are the gaskets you are talking about the ones that are used between the turbos and the manifold? I'm going to put on another set so I was looking at gaskets and came across the same part number.

I don't mean to thread jack, but will the Infinity Kappa series (6.5") fit in a 91 supra front door without any modifications? Was thinking of running Kappa in the front and Reference in the rear with a sub as well (haven't figured out which sub yet).
On another note, I was just on...
Thanks! Good to know. I found a good diy for swapping them so will have to re-read it and see if I'm going to need any more gaskets or parts.
