    Speedometer drive gear problem.

You need to look in the hole where the speedo. sensor goes and check the gear inside the trans. Chances are it's chewed up, and damaging the gear you keep replacing.

    Master Cylinder Brace

I take it this is for the brake master cylinder? I would think the clutch master cylinder would flex the firewall more. The title just says master cylinder, so if you could clarify a bit, please. I'd be interested in one for the clutch.

    wiring diagram?

Pics would be helpful. There's a couple of plugs on that side that don't go to anything.

Look in the thread "CPS sensor" right on the front page of this section.

    What are these?

I wonder if some of those same people not running them are the ones that post hard start conditions when the motor is hot.... Powder coating, eh?

    Camming sound

With the idle dropping that low, it's gonna sound like that. The wiring is a very good possibility. I've had trouble with my own, as the lock part of the harness connector is broke(if you look close at any pics I've put up, its zip tied ;)). I've also had the wires back out of the connector...

    Camming sound

The clicking noise when you shut the car off is more than likely the isc valve setting itself(its supposed to do that), so it "should" be working. As far as the timing, it(distributor bolt to head) probably won't sit centered when you set the timing. The most important thing is that it's set...

    no power so slow

A fresh motor that isn't running right, apparently. Check timing belt. Cam pins in correct holes(center on cams and gears), notches in gears pointing up at notches in rear cover, crank mark at 0*. http://cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?S=EM&P=23 Check cps. With...

    Camming sound

Tps, idle motor, timing. Check all three, but start with timing(easiest to check). Sounds like you have a low idle issue more than anything. Could be the dashpot isn't working correctly, or the little foam filter is getting plugged up. What was close, btw? Timing marks(cams and crank)...

6.5 PSI, 2 inch exhaust, BALD tires.

lol, doing donuts in an all wheel drive car isn't impossible, just complicated ;) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5bZOFRNExLE&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=slwfg6CvQYk&feature=related This one is good. Done on dry pavement.

    greenish white foamy stuff??

Change the oil again(as recommended by JDub, our local MOTOR OIL and LUBRICANTS EXPERT), then get a block test kit from Napa and test it yourself.

Did i find a very rare supra?

Maybe Toyota "accidentally" sold one of their concept cars. :biglaugh: Nah, I like my original statement better.

    That damn hardpipe.

lol, yeah. I repeated what you said. I got side tracked by the t.v. for a few minutes and missed your post.

    viscous fan

I wish the link to mkiiitech worked, the fan clutch is really easy to rebuild, but all the information was over there. The person who wrote the article used silicone shock oil for R/C cars, as it's cheaper than the stuff from the dealer, and can be obtained in the correct viscosity. There's...

    idle problems

Read this before you decide to use an oil additive: http://www.supramania.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=108 It's an hour or 2 of reading, including all the linked information, but when you're done you'll know more about motor oil, and how the oil system actually works, than most mechanics :)

There is a good post on Mkiiitech.com, but my link doesn't seem to be working any more. Is that site down?

    Alternator glowing..??

Hmmm... I need to do that for my 87 Prelude S. Never have tried rebuilding one myself. Done a few Polaris starters, though.

    That damn hardpipe.

Doesn't the t.b. coolant line also go to the isc valve, and then loop down into the head around cyl. 2 or 3 at the bottom of the intake? Or is that just on the N/A?
