Cars ALWAYS have more than one problem at a time. And they usually show themselves after you fix/do something to it. See my post under the recent 'fan clutch' thread in this section. :biglaugh:

Now let this be a lesson for every one !! The fan clutch is obviously NOT related to the ISC in any way, yet his problem started after he replaced the clutch. Gremlins will get in your car and F$% with it, and your head. :evil2:

On the hatch lock, If you turn the key to the left and then back to center and remove it, the inside lever (by the drivers seat) will be disengaged. I WOULD NOT DO THAT IF I WERE YOU !!!!!!! till you get the key working properly.
