Hooking up my BOV last week, I noticed a vacuum port I never plugged. Well, I plugged it of course.
Now my fuel MPG has gone to hell.. down to around 15-18mpg from 22-28.
My SAFC2 correction values (550s and 12psi boost) have...
I got my 1JZ engine set (no clip) from Jhotimports. They are the best in the east coast.
It took a weekend to install. Very easy to 1JZ swap an SC300. After I did a few, i got it down to doing it in one afternoon with just hand tools.
MK3 can be just as easy with the plug and play...
Well of course the 2JZGTE head flows more then a 1JZGTE head stock... that's common sence. One motor is 2.5 liters, the other is 3.
A goal was to actually install a 2JZGTE head on my 1JZ...
IDK about all these power claims.. the SC300 and SC400 run identical 1/4mi times and dyno identical WHP.

Too bad we don't have Active's here in the US. I'd give a testicle for one.
Call up Castle Hill Toyota, pickup a non-turbo 1JZGE exhaust manifold, block off the oil feed lines with two oil pan drain plug bolts, and block off the water lines with some rubber caps...
Good to go!
