People replace the JDM twins with USDM ones. Go browse supraforums.com, you can pick them up for $250.

I'm on my 4th (used) powersteering pump... It's a weaklink in the JZ motor. They only last around 100k miles. You can rebuild them, but it costs as much as a new pump ($400). What seems to keep them from being too loud is lucas power steering pump stuff.

I'd be right there with ya, but the springs won't let me:cry: It DOES see over 7 grand on a daily basis still at least :) People really go nuts when you tell them your car revvs close to 8 grand on a stock head and valvetrain, and the only thing keeping you from 9 is the cams lol

My friend with an AEM uses the rear one, if that means anything.

The car does have a heater "core", but most of the heating is done by the AC system. Basically instant heat even if the car is cold.

It's a weird system, the AC system also acts as the heater system

1JZ's have useable power to 9500 with a correctly matched turbo and Jun cams, good springs, and retainers. Past 10, at least with the jun's and a stock head, there wasnt anything.

I was averaging almost 29mpg on a trip from Tampa to Orlando on the highway, and that was doing 80mph with some fun spurts once and a while.

16 mpg is horrible for a 1JZGTE. Both my stock twin 1JZGTE SC300's with auto's averaged 20. My single car averages 22, and 28 on the highway
