I'd say the fan not on deffenitly helped your HC, when i would have to do AirCare(BC's Smog test) i would bag the shit out of my car, not a supra then:3d_frown: so it was nice and hot and put a bottle of methol hydrate in to about a half tank, dunno if it made a difference but only failed once...

i got to thinking, and bad grounds, wiring in general, would cause a decrease in current flow-amps. wich means there would be less load on alternator-in turn less load on engine. so please do explain. jetjock great idea.-but if were both wrong, what do you think it could be.

nope, closed the door with a towel inbewteen door and body, picked it up a bit, made up for the hinger wear, and those two bolts i was ready to yell at toyota, but i looked closer and they were studs with nuts, so a nice long extension and i was good to go, had to take the turn signal out for...

i may have misread your write up, is the solenoid on the starter clicking? or just the relay in the fuse pannel?

was the solenoid contact disk replaced?? the clicking you hear is prolly the solenoid actuating, but if the disk is corroded or warped it wont complete the circuit. try jumping the terminal, if you can, haven't looked at mine. if she goes, buy a new starter.

nah removed the fender first, but that urethane drove me nuts was looking everywhere for mor bolts before i realized. i thought about removing the door first, but then i'd have to align it, prolly pull the 20+year old wiring out too haha.

pretty sure that is total bs when you step on the brake the atmosphere side of the brake booster diaphram opens, causing a major differnce in presure. engine vacum ---- atompshpere prssure. cant remeber exactly how it goes, but trustme its normal--within reason-- it dont stall you engine...
