Ok well since dodge is closed on the 4th, I tried to use a tiny screwdriver and a hammer and managed to tap them out. They looked fine just carbon buildup. Thanks for the input everyone.
I read to try to stick them in boiling water for a bit...that didn't help.
I'm not sure what that means.
It's only the top compression ring on 3 of the pistons. :dunno:
Ok i'm trying to remove the old rings on some 2jz piston and they are stuck. I've tried soaking them in penetrating oil for hours with no luck. They are stuck fully compressed and it's pretty hard to fit a small pic in to seperate them. (i've broken 3 pics so far). Any easy way to remove/break...
Sorry if i've posted in the wrong section but yesterday morning someone broke into my building and stole 2 turbos from me. All I know is they were driving a white supra. The turbos were a stock ct26 with a polished housing and a 60-1 upgraded ct26 with a 3sgte exhaust hausing still attached. If...
I've got a 60-1 CT26 i've been wanting to sell for a while now. Problem is it's for a 3SGTE. Figured i'd sell it faster with a 7M exhaust housing on it but for the life of me can't figure out how it comes apart. Has anyone ever tried this before?
Sorry my camera sucks.
I just bought a 2JZGE. My origional plan was to turbo it and run 7MGTE electronics however my friend just gave me a 1J head and intake manifold. Can I still make the 7M electronics work with it or am I going to have to find a 1jz or 2jz wiring harness and ecu?
