Made by the same people but it's ignition only. I have maft pro sitting here already and wasn't sure if it would solve the ecu wanting to advance the timing under boost.
Was changing the starter on my 89 last christmas eve. I went inside to piss then came back outside and the car was gone. My driveway is inclined and it rolled down my driveway, across a 2 lane hwy., and into the field across the street. Had to pay a guy to get it out on christmas eve. Felt so...
Ok i've finally finished my 5spd. swap but it won't start. At first I assumed it was the neutral safety switch i bypassed (wouldn't turn over, starter didn't click) but that turned out to be leaving the anti theft box under the dash unplugged:3d_frown:) Now it clicks but still doesn't want to...
Luckily the engine and trans were already out of it. It's completely gutted. She said shes been paying on it for the last 6 months. she lives 5 minutes from my place but never noticed the car (in absolute plain view next to the road). I mean i really could care less but i had no notice and she...
I bought a yellow 87 supra almost 2 years ago for 300 as a parts car. No title didnt think anything of it. Today cops show up at my house with a lady and a title for the car. It's still here but damn it's been here almost 2 years and she wants it now?! Is there anything I can do because i was...

Well it is a W58. It came out of an 87 NA car. It had a clip on it beforehand (i watched my friend remove it). I actually work at Exedy (but my plant makes torque convertors :nono:) It just got off the phone with advance and they confirmed it's for a 1989 Supra W58.
A340E to W58. I bought a clutch kit and it came with 1 big clip for the throwout bearing/fork. The TSRM shows two small clips holding them together and for the life of me I can't seem to figure out how this single clip holds them together.
I may have goofed up. I put assembly lube on both sides of the bearings on the mains. When searching the tsrm for torque specs, it says only put it on the rotating side and not the back. Should I start back over or is there any real harm in doing this?
