were you thinking of running both l-f/w and al ds. I will call him tomorrow and see if he has something to fit your needs. Keep me posted on that al ds, as far as vibrations or irregularities go.
I will be ordering the ati dampener tomorrow, weighs 1/2 as much as stock, cheap, well not so...
Real nice peice and no vibrations, that's great to hear, was thinking of this mod too.
I have been told by driveline guys that if it is smooth at slower speeds, the odds that it vibrate at higher speeds in very low, when I had mine balanced, they spun it up to 3500 rpms, don't know what...
Check your brake fluid, mine did the same thing, turned out to be the brake master cylinder cap. It has a low warning feature built into it. Mine would light up very dim for maybe 5 minutes upon first start up in the mornings, then it would go off and stay off the rest to the day. Changed...
did plug the hole in pan, did add more oil, used the big 1 qt filter and the small stock filter, didn't plumb in the oil thermostat although I have it and all the fittings (aeromotive 6-AN). Just went from adapter on block "out" to filter "in" then filter "out" to oil cooler "in" and from oil...
Any of you guys done the oil filter relocation mod.
Done mine and lost 1/2 of my oil pressure. Put it back to stock and got my pressure back. WTF.
Post up your results if you have done the mod.

Searched all the low oil pressure threads and didn't find anything about this condition arising after the relocation kit install.
I know alot of members have done this install, hoping some will step up and post their results in relation to oil pressure.

are you talking about the gte oil filter mount with the one line that goes to the oil cooler, if so yes, used a 7mge oil bolt and screwed the new adapter to it. Double and triple checked out on block went to in at new filter and out at new filter went to in at block.

put the system back to stock and the oil pressure was12-14 at warm idle and 40 or a tad above at 2800 rpm's, so there is nothing wrong with the sender or gauge.
Hopefully some others that have done the relo kit will chime in with their experiences.

Thanks for your thought.
Just makes me a little nervous seeing my gauge sitting at 20 or so at 2500 rpm's.
Wondering if anyone else has had similiar expierences after the simple mod.

Installed the perma cool kit with out at the block going to in at the new filter relocation adapter, then out of there to the cooler then out of the cooler to in on the block. Now I only see 20-23 psi on gauge at 3k and about 8-10 at idle. Double checked the connections and used 1/2 inch...
