    Cool Supra

I saw this car while heading to the 2005 Tampa Supra meet. Definitely hot and very well done

Cars you can bank on...86-92 Supra

I'm fine with my car "not being worth shit." It means more to me than it ever will anyone else and I'm sure as hell not going to ever sell it, so it doesnt matter anyways. Cheaper cars mean easier to get parts and more cars for--you guys should see how much BMW parts are...even for old E30s like...

    I just couldn't stay away......

I couldnt stay away either Eli. This summer I'll be working as much as I can to go back to driving mine daily rather than sitting in the garage. MkIIIs are an infliction :D

    Size of bolts/fittings?

I'm glad you mentioned that. I saw an option for zinc coated bolts on mcmaster and wasnt sure which was preferable. I understand the wave, giving the bolt a bit of "preload" of sorts as a lock washer. There are different methods of accomplishing this, but the kit I was refering to includes...

    AEM wideband

Awesome, this is good to know! An AEM gb is starting soon and I'm glad I can also replace my shit stock one that I usually leave unplugged anyways. Fortunately, our cars use limited input from things like the TPS and O2 and rely mostly on AFM signal for instance.

    Size of bolts/fittings?

Oh wow, a friend just showed me that yesterday and I didnt even think to look there...their prices are better for stuff. Just curious Adam, why is cad plating so important, and why would it be better than a black oxide badass dark bolt?

    Size of bolts/fittings?

I dont mean to take this on too much of a tangent, but google has lead me to these: http://store.nutsandbolts.com/hardware-assortments-0005.html and even more http://store.nutsandbolts.com/metric-hex-cap-screw-assortment-49.html Thats what I was looking for and am going to try and find locally.

    AEM vs MoTeC

Mostly a joke because of how often I've seen people typo it. I can tell its IJ. with a period and all, but not everyone does. Anyways AEM wooo, but MoTeC for the big boys

My restoration project - Rusty 89

This is a build I definitely need to keep track of. I only wish one day I can restore mine this same way, from the ground up with restomods. Excellent job thus far, keep it up!

    Size of bolts/fittings?

This thread reminded me to start looking again...I really need to find a big ol bolt set as backup for when I need a bolt or something. Something like this: But with bolts..

    AEM vs MoTeC

I've definitely followed your threads as you have obviously been breaking all sorts of new ground! You should change your s/n to 7M. to avoid the 1J misnomer lol

    AEM vs MoTeC

Okay, well I dont need any more convincing. If I see one more graph that shows all sorts of engine vital data, I'm going to freak out! Basically, I want to just go with AEM and be happy with it than pony up money (that I wont have until I am out of school) and inevitably do things like add...

    Long Runner Intake Manifold :)

It looks REALLY nice, I'm glad to see it works so well. I'm curious as to how the throttle linkage was set up; did you use only stock pieces still? Otherwise very clean and I'm now definitely considering this in a few months. Also, why not have the bung for the vacuum booster facing it and run...

cressida front end on a supra...

No offense, but why did you buy a Supra then?

    AEM vs MoTeC

Scranton Brothers/Ride Revolution used AEM on their 6 sec. "Celica" (2J). I know one of the members of the team before it was sold and he much approves of the AEM and uses it himself. Everywhere I looked before this thread, it seemed that AEM was the best choice. I'm not entirely interested in...

    Help choosing new air filter

Nice to know! I'm glad the results arent biased dthen; however those filters sure are expensive

    Help choosing new air filter

That test is really old and I suspect biased, but regardless, I'd still lean towards the Apex'i and/or a decent dry filter. I have that HKS, and I'm pretty sure its a dry type, not wet. Also, its not washable. I washed it and a bunch of little pieces of foam came off...wtf...fortunately its...

cressida front end on a supra...

I'm more likely one day to photoshop the pre89 front to a MkIV than I am to actually bastardize a perfectly good MkIV front, even though its the only part of the car that looks a tad off. Accord/Supra thing was on AutoTrader once IIRC, I cant remember where I saw it but I saved the pics...

cressida front end on a supra...

Its unique and interesting, I kinda like it, though the trim doesnt flow well and I prefer the pre89 MkIII front end. In fact, I may make this out of my next car, a 95 Supra, but with a pre89 front: Also, here's an Accord front end

    Better Sound : 7M, 1J, or 2J?

7M, but I'm biased. 2JZ can be described in one word: exotic. I dont know that 7M really sounds "better" than the 2J, but I prefer it. 1J sounds baller too, but I love me my 7M, loud turbo spool down, spool up, external WG dumping, and type S. I didnt choose the type S, but I'm a sucker for its...
