Alright well College is approaching fast and i dont kno what im going to do with my car yet.. but i might be selling it.. so this is a testing waters unless there is interest..
anything with a * means it has a receipt with it
Engine mods:
HG done at 120k with 4 way valve grind *
newer...
did u guys all modify the HAC sensor? is it really all that neccesary... id imagine it would be in a hilly area.. but im on mostly flat near ocean level altitude
basicallly
"you mean are being made. i have about 8 done. just waiting for my motor swap to finish up so i can test it and make sure that it hits all the gears perfectly so it doesnt damage a trans or your synchros :)"
Well nashman is saying his is the best, its also fully adjustable. so ur going to have to have some kind of show off to prove whos is the best. for reference i believe his sell for 120?
my buddy bought one.. hes good with electrical and basically he changed a resistor inside of it and made the gauge a hell of alot brighter so u can actually see it during the day, its really effing bright at night. but not painful bright.
haha yea didnt think it would be a good thing when it lurches forward, almost hitting a car infront of me, able to basically hear it whine, and the rpms drop about 500 rpm..
lol ya thats what im thinking.. is it worth it to put the royal purple in? or just save it for tomorrow when i put a used on in.. i dont mind buying one, i found one with 120k KM on it (60k miles) for 500 Canadian. i just want to make sure its not something small before i do it.
yup, topped up when the slave was done. in about 20 mins im going to put in 3litres of royal purple... it might work... might now. but i hope it does lol..
well it was all adjusted and bled.. and then after taking it to the drag strip it started being a knob :( i was only running 17" street tires with a 40 series sidewall at 30 psi. also i forgot to mention, sitting in nuetral i can let the clutchout and the car will lurch forward..
so i think my transmission is shot.. basically its doing this..
put in a new pressure plate, and been having troubles since. slave blew up, so i replaced that. but now going into 1st is reallly hard from a stop. but once its in i can take it out and it goes in like butter (synchro?) same...
i have demo'd this shifter, as has BIC performance man Randy. i can't remebre what randy said, but im sure grim or Nashman can chime in on that. i personally love the shifter and will be definately getting on aslong as i have funds when they start coming into play.
