so do i just spray carb cleaner around the clamped areas and check for bubbles?? i just put on 2 brand new clamps on a spot where i thought it was leaking.. now its getting more boost faster... but then it hit fuel cut harder.... so i think i am getting closer to eliminating the leak...

well i have a custom set of hardpipes.. removed the stock 3000 pipe.. so im guessing one of the clamps stripped getting put on and now isnt holding... im going to grab some regular hose clamps first... then if that doesnt work ill get some t bolts i guess... i only want to run like 13 psi... so...

well shit, i am going to go buy all new clamps tomorrow... i cant really tighten down the stock shitty ones.. so ill just go buy some t bolt's and see what happens...

well the mr2's use similar turbos dont they? but yea u can pretty much guesstimate 10 hp per psi. on stock turbo.

wouldnt i be seeing a lot less boost and a lot later on in the rpm range if i had a leak? and a thing that was in the abck of my mind.. i think my turbo to downpipes gasket is a piece and is leaking.. but that would only cause creep would it not? and i would see that in my peak reading... and...

well it looks to me like a different bosch thne the ones that most use as a direct replacement for the stock one.. that one almost looks like a turbo xs type H style.. but i will say taht it does sound good :D my bosch is recirculated.. but i also have a DDP so i couldnt really put up a sound...

ill say that it mostly depends on what type of car you buy then... if you flip a big bill when u first buy the car for one that has been documented and taken care of iwth all receipts since it was new... then your shouldnt be doing bad.. as long as you do keep up with regular matainence...

wow u guys must abuse ur cars or something... mines sitting at ~307 rwhp and its been my DD for the last year... all i have done is 3 oil changes ( full synthetic) replaced the starter, battery, thermostat, tranny/rear end fluid... but that was mostly just because i wanted to and in total costed...
