Ok thanks man, problem solved. I cut off the restrictor off the j-tube and was able lower the pressure below 50psi. I set it at 39psi. What do you guys usually set the fuel pressure to for a good tune?
I bought my sx regulator about a year ago but the car sat 90 percent of the time in the garage when i installed it. Im gonna put my buddy aeromotive regulator on and see what happens. I can still raise the pressure with the sx regulator though.
Ok I have a sx fuel pressure regulator, 255high pressure fuel pump with the 12volt mod done on my mk3. When i try to lower my fuel pressure with the sx regulator, the lowest it goes down is 50psi, thats with the whole screw out of the regulator. Is this normal with the 12volt mod????
Update....planning to hit the dyno mybe in 2 or 3 weeks. Little delay on the project cause ive been over the road in the transportation business. Will update soon on the numbers. Planning to run 20psi on pump and 22-23psi on race if it dont blow up.
Ok today i got my gm 3 bar map sensor installed it and still doing the same thing. Afc not reading hz, i did put the stock afm back on and it ran fine.
Correct me if im wrong on the wiring
gm 3bar map sensor= A=ground B=signal C=5volt
hks vpc= green=ground blue=signal yellow=5volt
Ok i did a compression test and its 165 psi all across. i checked all my connected from afc to vpc and it still good, now im leading to a bad map sensor. where can i get one, hks discontinued it.
Throwing code 31 and 24
Well, I already solved the other problem, two vac line pop off. I already put them back.

I was testing my mbc to set my boost at 20 psi but i screw too much and it went 26psi, fuel cut kicked in and after that the car keep stalling. It wont hold idle, throw code 31 and the hz is not reading on the afc. This was just second gear pull to set boost level. any help. bad map sensor...
