Good man thats just wasting money. You said you hooked up a gauge to pressure side? what were the results? suction side?
One last thing, and its probably a long shot. You were mentioning a smaller pulley for the PPS. Is the pump the same? Because pumps have a max rpm so the vacum in the...
I gotchta, I'm a 3rd Year HET myself, one week and three exams and I'll be a fourth year:) But it is good practise to do that if you think you may be unsure. Especially if your just getting started. Cool beans...
All the layout sais is pin 7 +12volts to solenoid
pin 8-boost solenoid control signal
I dont tihnk it will matter either its only a solenoid,
but if anyone has theres out I would apperciate if you could tell me where pin 8 went to on the solenoid plug, if you were looking at the plug...
There is a 2 wire plug off the solenoid, but not off the maft pro unit/harness.
I'm sure it was short shipped or something, but I am just gonna solder it.
sneakypete...dejavu???
:icon_razz Thanks!
But my second question is my boostcontrol solenoid only has two black wires. Being a solenoid it probably wont matter how I hook it up eh?
Sorry I cant find the wiring for the boost control solenoid for the Maft-Pro.
I dont need the vacum lines diagram, just what wires do the 2 wires from the solenoid go to on the maft unit. If this is a double post could someone post that thread thanks a lot guys, gals.
Ohh I dont have the...
Depend on your level I guess, and how familular you are with the project. But trust me getting a passover and having a bucket of random nuts/bolts, makes for a crappy start...
Well from where I'm sitting all I can logically say is make sure that the suction line is FREE FlOWING, I would imagine anything more than 4"-5"s of Mercury and that pump would cavitate. And of course you have the proper belt and belt tension. Good Luck dude.
Smaller pulley= more RPM=More flow
Got Boost-A leak in the pressure side wont cause aeration, It will just leak.
grimsta-Did you check the suction line? Since you said theres no aeration/foaming, i wouldn't think theres a hole in it, but a restriction maybe, collapsing on the inside, did...
gaboonviper- Is there anymore progress on this? I'm still interested in being able to keep the TSRM in my front pocket.
infrontofu-I plan on keeping my TSRM for MUCH MUCH MUCH longer than I plan on keeping my phone. And swearing and yelling at it is the only way to go;)
HEY, I found a pic on my phone of my WG dent haha. I think mine is a little bigger than yours. WG cracks even a few more nano seconds quicker;) lol.
EDIT: Just looked at the pic, I'm a Coke man, not pepsi:3d_frown:
I always asked what I last fucked with with when I have problem. Personally I would inspect clutch/flwheel again. Both drive shafts have a shimmy? Did you try the third too? It would suck missing your dyno but a broken car that far from home would be worse I think.
