    question about fuel cut

Is your boost gauge messed? Just throwing that out there. Are you getting any codes at all? A stock fuel system just simply can not support that much boost without grossly leaning out. Something has to be reading wrong or you're got mods you aren't listing or don't know about.

PacNW Supra nationals 2010 website is up! Register now!

Another quick question... I just noticed the "off topic (non-supra)" awards. One of my buddies drives a skyline and was wondering what sort of cars were expected in that area. He very well might be in if it's open to other cars as well.

anyone have torque sheet for arp studs?

I got mine from Lordco Auto Parts cause I've got a buddy who works there, but they're BC only I believe. Just took a quick look on their website and they've got a list of people per province. http://www.arp-bolts.com/Dealer/Dealer.html

anyone have torque sheet for arp studs?

Anyone who gets ARP hardware should be able to get you the moly lube. I picked up a tube and it will be good for more rebuilds than I hope to ever do on my car :)

Quick question... The $20...is that price per car? Per attendee? What about just coming to watch and maybe take part in the cruise, but not take part in the other events? And finally, what if my car blows up on me before then and I'm registered :P.

Hard to change plans when you're registered as a pit crew chief for one of the cars otherwise I'd be very torn and seriously tempted ;) He AND his dad (who is also racing) are fellow Supra owners and drivers though.... haha! That being said though, his dad's picked up an NSX and has been...

    Size of coolant port thingy

A new head or a new union? If it's the union, yeah, I'd say get a different one. If it's the head...that's a little be more expensive. I've got a spare union sitting around...

    HKS vs. Greddy headgasket

I didn't have to remove the rivet on my Cometic either. Here's a thread about just this :) http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?118036-HKS-MHG-Rivet

Need help with BOV installation - Vancouver!!

Looks like you can use a flange for either a Type S, Type RS, or Type R Greddy BOV's, they're all the same. Just doing a quick look over the internet, looks like it shouldn't cost much more than $30 for an official one, I'm sure people have their own fabbed ones as well. You'll have to...

This just had to be on a weekend I'm down at Mission doing pit for my buddy on an SCCBC race weekend :( I'll be busy right from Friday night until Sunday evening. That sucks....maybe I'll be able to pop over to the drag track on Friday night and at least do some watching.

    My Supra's Chronicles (400hp goal)

True that. I did my top end replacement never having torn apart an engine to that degree. So far things have worked out ok. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it all out when you have resources like the TSRM and personal experience and knowledge from people like members on this very...

Alleged BHG?? or something else =o NEED KNOWLEDGABLE HELP!

Yeah, first step is to clear up any leaks that you have. After it's all sealed up again check for coolant loss. If you're not losing coolant, than there's no leak. If you ARE going to do an oil change, do it after the car's been sitting for a couple hours. When you crack the drain plug take...

    t-belt/ timing

You'll want to avoid using stuff like screwdrivers and whatnot when checking TDC in the future because it will scratch up your piston. Thus the chopstick. Soft wood that won't hurt anything, straight, and long. Cams don't control the stroke at all. Cams control the valves, opening and...

    Is it too late????

It's normal to get that milky residue under the oil cap if you unless the car's been nice and hot for a good half hour, ESPECIALLY if it sits for a couple weeks between driving. Condensation will build up in the crankcase, it's normal, and it's not a bit problem as long as you burn it off...

    Car wont crank over

Check and see if the starter is even drawing when you turn to crank. Check the voltage drop when you're cranking. Check the voltage drop between the battery and the solenoid wire (the small wire going to the starter). Try wiggling the main power to the starter, see if it's a bad connections...

Engine needs a rebuild, where to go from here?

Looks like he'll be trying to sell it as is. Still just waiting for a few quotes on engines/rebuilds from some places, but it's looking too expensive for him.

Engine needs a rebuild, where to go from here?

I personally am trying to steer him away from the 1J swap. At this point (especially) there is just too much going on for him to have to worry about troubleshooting the quirks that undoubtedly will come with a swap. Honestly the only real options I think are feasable are rebuilding the 7M he's...

Engine needs a rebuild, where to go from here?

So my buddy noticed a sizeable oil leak the other day in his driveway on his Supra and took it in to get checked out (after adding oil generously). The verdict is piston ring (or rings) are done, pressurized the bottom end, and blew out his rear main. He's got lots of oil spewed up through his...

    February Fearless Feeding Meet.

Lol, she's a little different. Since I started going out with her four years ago, her "ideal" car went from "Four Door, Blue" to now..."240SX with SR20 swap" or "MK3 Supra with 2JZ". Hehe...methinks I've corrupted her :evil5:. She enjoys heading down to the track with me and a bunch of guys...

White Supra with Black/Purple Pearl engine bay - yay or nay?

I'd give it a nice new coat of white honestly. I agree with hvyman, just makes it look like a cheap paint job if you don't have it the same color as the outside.
