Yes it was mentioned once but removing bolts that aren't being used can save a good amount. Like rear seatbelt bolts and any bolts from deleted things like abs. Zip ties are lighter than bolts and can actually be used in some locations. And the nuts that are welded on to the body for the bolts...
I did a bbk on my airbagged toyota pickup with4 runner calipers. I bought some wilwood rotors and hats. They were 12.19" x .81" and the hats were 7.62 bolt circle with a 2 inch offset. You could get a variety of offsets.
I just had that problem too. It was tailight seals. I don't have any and the whole wheel well would fill up really fast in a rain storm. I could hear it sloshing around back there lol like a small lake. I don't have the money to buy new seals from Toyota so for temporary I just put a whole bunch...
Thanks. Ya it actaully is very suprising that my rack seals are still good, considering I was in a accident that pulled my entire hub/wheel off and bent the other tie rod end. I just got a ps line off of a n/a 7M car. It sure is a bich to weasel it in there. But all I had to do was take off my...
Well I replaced the pressure line. Did it up good and tight. Filled it up with psfluid. Went for a drive. Came back and parked on some plywood. Returned after 1/2 hour and no drips on the plywood whatsoever. I finally solved all my leaks on my car it's wicked.
The pressure line looks wet to me. And I have a cheap source from a friend. I picked it up already just gonna throw it in and park on some cardboard to see if there is still drips.
the maft isn't a standalone computer so I would guess you can't remove anything else. Unless you delete AC then you can remove some fan sensors n stuff.
Is there supposed to be ps fluid inside the boot?
Googled some stuff about ps racks.... Is there a seal I can replace? I replaced the inner tie rod on the other side of the rack. I might just have to go grab a parts rack off the parts car. But dam that is a lot of work and I just got my...
So I've been trying to locate this leak in my power steering system. It's not very big of a leak. If I top up the reservoir it will be down in a day or 2.
I am wondering if the steering rack boots seal in the power steering fluid. If the clamp on the boots is messed up will that be the source...
Looks good. Dam you should of run the main engine harness behind the firewall. It looks bad with those zip ties and how it hangs over the heater stuff. It makes it look so much cleaner. Much easier without all the ducting installed under the dash. You have to drill a new hole by the gas...
Ok. I did the tps adjustment and then timed it. The timing is lower than 10 when I look at it with a timing light. It seems to jump betweeen 5 and 10 so it's hard to get an exact reading. I did a knock sensor rewire properly and have recently replaced hg with a Toyota one. Thinking maybe I...
I tried Raybestos and they didn't seem to have anything. Went to Toyota and it was $230 for the part out of Cali. Ended up getting some brand I never heard of for $80. This is how my life goes lol
My car backfires. It always happens in and around the top of 3rd gear and 4th gear. I let off the gas and coast for a while then as soon as my foot get back on the gas it backfires. It seems to happen right after I was in boost I think not certain about that.
