Ok all, I picked up a 87-88 Automatic harness today with the entent on Pulling it into my supra. Very good condition harness. So after alot better look at it, I noticed that there isnt a starter wire......
Manual tranny Harness have the small wire that connects to the starter but this one...
Well, Im not for sure exactly ow to check that. All Im doing is following the TSRM. If I use the MK3 Starter wire I get Absolutely nothing when I turn the Key, Its like the wire isnt connected to the starter so I end up having to put the MK2 starter wire on and it starts up fine when it warm...

Its been a long time waiting but I finally got around to looking at this code 43 Starter Signal with hopes of getting it fixed.
Looking at the TSRM is states to Check the Voltage between STA and E1.
With the Ignition ON there should be no Voltage..... Im reading 6.8v with the...
Seems to be the going thing from what I see. The MK2 with a 7M is getting common now and now the MKIII with a 1J is becoming common. I guess it depends on what you think is best for you. I dont really care to rev above 7000 RPMs, and the 7M has plenty of Power if you know how to build it...

Tell him to get that DAM BHG fixed. Dont have an Excuse that I couldnt drive a 7M because of a BHG. Fix it, Torque it and drive it.
