Ok all, First I want to thank you all for your help and Im going to throw this last Question out there at you all and I think Im good to go from here. From what I have been told from Sources that our cars go back into Open loop at 68% throttle. Since this is the only Issue I have right now...
Id this setting relivant if infact you arent using the MAFT Pro boost controller. Im using a HKS EVC IV Boost controller.
Also, With Spark WOT and Spark Aux..... CREs site state that the Standard setting is 15, When I looked at mine for some reason both were at -10 across the board in each...
thats my Problem sir, Im not 100% sure what Im looking for when I look at a Log and when looking at any Specific Part of the VE table.
Now, Now Im using tune tune High but the KPa im not for sure about. Im like a Spounge here and trying to learn everything that I can. On a Side not and I...
OK all, Last of the picking through your brain questions.
As you might have read, I was having A/F ratio problems under rising boost. Well, Where is what I found out today after doing a quick run and hopefully someone can give me some insight on what to do here.
At 100% full throttle in...
Mine looks Exactly like the one on the Left. Has the Aeromotive name on it also. I dont really want to take it apart. I will take a pic of it when I get home and show everyone.
Got out this morning and did a Quick boost run, Instead of A/F dropped once Im maxed out at set Boost, My A/F...
those are the flanges that I was talking about. I have 2 or 3 of them here. Would have given them to ya but oh well. Maybe someone else will need them.
The gauge was already installed on the FPR when it came in. I didnt do anything to it other than install all the fittings into the Fuel rail and connect everything up and then set the FP. I think that is when I started to get that fume smell but dont Quote me on that. I dont have it anymore as I...
Well I bought it from a member of the forum as he had it in the for sale section. I was insured that it was an original but I cant tell the Difference between the 2 of them. Its now sitting in the garage on my shelf so if there is a way to tell then by all means tell me.
It came with the FPR...
Well, I went out and Pulled the Aeromotive off and Installed my Megan FPR back on, Started the car up and Set the FP to 40psi Vacuum line off, Plug the line back in and it dropped to around 34 psi, with turbo timer set for 30 Seconds, I turned the car off and watched the FPR, Once the car shut...
Well, Maybe thats why Im always smelling fumes coming into the car. At one minute, I look at the Gauge and its reading 33 psi, and then later on, I start the car up and look at the gauge again and its reading 40psi. I have a Megan FPR that I can installed and see what that one does.
You do know that they do make a Adapter that you can just weld to the piping and bolt your Existing O2 sensor too. I bought these a while back and I never used them. I have 2 of them I think out in the Garage, If your welding Skills are good enough, you can use them with the Stock O2 or the...
Ok all, I have read the TRSM and I know that there is a time limit to how fast you loose FP on these Motors.
My Question is how fast should FP fall if you dont have the Fuel Pulsation Dampner installed.
IE.... FPD bypass Kit
MKIV Fuel Pump
Aeromitive FPR set at 40 psi...
Might sound like a Stupid question and Im starting to learn a little more everyday about this setup.....
How or Why would you modify the VE table. Only Problem that Im running into at this point in the setup is that under boost, I cant get my A/F ratio to Drop Quick enough....... ie, I do a...
