    Ongoing decel to idle stalls

You 100% absolutely sure you have no vacuum/boost leaks? Check everything from intake piping to each and every vacuum line if you haven't already.

    retiming the engine

Follow the instructions given and the TSRM links....they'll tell you exactly how to set it back up. If you want to verify the cam gears are bolted on correctly, look at Step 9 in the timing belt link, the pictures and notes tell you exactly where everything is supposed to be.

    retiming the engine

Yeah, you just bring the crank to TDC and then line up those notches on the cams and back plate. You'll probably be needing to realign the CPS as well. Just follow the TSRM directions for timing belt install linked above and as long as everything lines up, it should be good. CPS install...

7MGTE 5 speed manual cranks, but wont start at times.

^ What he said. Or another thing you could try is while you're at home (just in case it decided to not start again) and the car is running in the driveway, jiggle the CPS wires and see if the car dies. I just replaced both sides of that connector this last summer and when I went to unplug it...

I think I blew my Headgasket...

90* at the back of the head? Have fun changing that one if it is, it's a PITA! :icon_razz It's still very doable though. None the less hope it all goes smoothly and the car is back up and running in no time :)

    Horrible MPG, No Apparent Problems

Pretty sure that's not without some electronics/tuning that you'll get 28mpg on the highway. Most cars will get about 16 in city driving and maybe just over 20 highway. With it getting colder, it does take the car significantly longer to warm up. If you are taking it on very short trips all...

    End of a chapter...sad day

Yeah, I completely understand. Everything as it gets older will be more prone to cracking/rusting/leaking/breaking/etc. My wife's civic blew a head gasket even though she takes really good care of it and drives it very conservatively (and it only had 65,000 miles on it at the time). These...

    End of a chapter...sad day

Yeah, I had an '86 Corolla sedan as a DD when I was saving to do some head work. I paid $600 for it, it had 380,000km on it. I put in a new CV, ran it for 15,000km doing nothing else but plugs, wires, and oil changes. Ran like a champ and I beat the crap out of it. Ended up giving it to a...

    End of a chapter...sad day

That and it's just me and my wife, no kids in the picture for at least 9 months unless there's something I don't know :icon_razz. With work schedules and locations, it will work fine having just one car for the mean time. At this point I want something that I can still have a little fun with...

    Injectors

What sort of electronics are you using to tune for different injectors? The Lexus AFM mod won't work with those if that's what you're thinking. 725cc injectors are definitely overkill, but on the other hand they will work just fine if you can tune it properly.

    Injectors

Just so he doesn't get confused, the 7M-GTE has 440cc top feed, so taking the 330cc top feeds from the 2JZ-GE would be going backwards and would likely result in you needing much more than just injectors.

    tools for rebuilding 7ms

Zip lock baggies and a sharpie are always a good idea for remember what goes where. If all else fails, you can use this too: http://www.turboninjas.com/mk3supra/others/Mk3%20Engine%20Fasteners.pdf You need a big socket to get the union off at the back of the head as well (pretty sure I...

Yeah, the guy I sold it too was in high school too...and I wouldn't be suprised if it was blown up within a few months sadly :(. On the test drive he took it out of the driveway, dead cold engine, and pulled 2nd gear until fuel cut...and then proceded to do the same in 3rd :: angry ::. I...

    End of a chapter...sad day

I have my reasons, mainly because I can't keep up with pouring money in to it and I don't want to have it just sit and rot away. For a long time I've tried to keep convincing myself that "Well, nothing else can go wrong because I've always done so much!" but that's just not been the case...

Yeah, the wife is opposed to 2 seater (though I still can't figure out why, I never had anyone in the backseat of the Supra really), otherwise MR2 would be on the list too. And yes, I know finding an unmolested 240sx will be difficult at the best of times, so we'll see. I'll probably have to...

Monday I watched the Supra that I've loved for the last 4 years drive away with someone else in the driver's seat and his name on the title. I know I won't be able to have a car anywhere near the caliber that the Supra for a long time if ever again, but at least I can say that I've been there...

    MKIV Front Brake Kit

It's not a direct swap over, and for the price of the MKIV hardware and the stuff you need to change so they fit, most people end up spending their money on a purpose built big brake kit. If you're looking for something to replace what you've got because they're worn out, there was a Toyota...

    Car won’t start with video.

Yeah, check cams and crank to make sure all the matchmarks line up at 0* and TDC. Chances are the timing belt has skipped. It's a non interference engine, so you don't have to worry about bent valves if the crank and cams were off in timing. Follow the steps here and get back to us...
