Want to get paid for your MKIII knowledge?

Lonnie, what about mkiii-tech.net or whatever it was? I'd remember the guy's name if I saw it, but not off the top of my head... there is also the tech articles section on here as well. :)

    Drift suspension intel

Agreed on the things breaking... You know, there are a couple schools of thought that I've seen. Either have a ton of power, or a lightweight car you can haul ass into the corners with. I slid my old Miata around probably more than the Supras or SS, both have a different approach. Supra and SS...

    Stock MK3 Height

I call BS on that "old" part. The oldest Mk3 is only 25 years old itself. Even if you had an 86.5, if you had it new when you were 21, that puts you at 46. Old my ass. :p On the original subject, Jay, IIRC, the stock ride height was about 2.5-3" of wheel gap. Considering you have ~25.x" of...

    Twin turbo manifold for 7mgte

We're the ridiculous ones, but you're a bit late to the party... :p

    Personal Experience with Aftermarket Carpet?

Can't say I've heard of them. GrimJack, he may have some insight as to a good company for this though, I think he replaced his interior carpet.

Thinking about 2uz swap in a 89 mkiii

That would have been pretty awesome...

    Missing bolt/trim

I'm with Jay on this one... I believe this picture is of the bottom seat belt mounting point on the door side. There is a bracket that guides the seat belt buckle when you move the seat forward or backward. That bracket is what I believe you are missing.

Pre 89 MKIII spotted in "Hellraiser: Hellworld"

I believe we have a specific thread for Supras spotted in videos... Anyway, why did they just leave the Supra?

    Hawken (Beta)

Been a while since there was a good mech game... Steel Battalion came out in what, 2004? Then again, the Armored Core series has looked good recently too.

    Torrents

Used to use them extensively, but pretty sure I caught a bug there once for some odd ass reason. Then again, shit happens sometimes. Are there any really worth it now that demonoid is gone?

Domestic Flights in the US (CA) - Options?

I find it a bit funny, aside from the bugs and the snakes, I figure NZ would be a beautiful place for a honeymoon. Grass is always greener, huh? :p If you're at all interested in Bonneville, you're not terribly out of the way from San Francisco to Vegas if you change your mind and decide to...

    Storm Sandy

Someone on here had a brilliant idea for keeping hail from messing up your car, was it putting rugs/carpets on your car until the storm blows over? Anyway, good luck to you guys, try to keep out of the weather if you can!

Wrenches before wenches, parts 1 and 2...

Ran across some old blogs I had written on Myspace (remember that place) years ago. Thought a couple of them might be appreciated by those on here. Seeing as how few people really seem to read the blog section, I'll post these couple of mine in this thread. (DT/SC, if you guys have an issue...

    1986 AE86 Corolla GT-S Supercharged

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_Z-car#Nissan_240Z_Concept_.281999.29 Makes ya wonder though... would you buy a factory restored AE86 for $20-25k? That's FR-S money there. Personally... call me crazy, but I might consider it.

1946 Chevy Fleetmaster 2-door, meet "Betty"...

Well, progress is halted for a bit. I need to clean out the rear driver side wheel well, then move the car to the other side of the garage. Light is better if I leave the car backed in, not to mention it keeps me away from the cracked open garage door a bit. Being that winter is setting in, is...

    $130.00 3.0 badge.....wha?!?

That badge just blocks airflow to the condenser and radiator anyway. Only a tiny bit, but still. :p

    quick weight question/s

Wheels and rotors, yes. Calipers are another fairly big area you can lighten things up. Tires to a *small* extent, but that is going to be a case-by-case basis. Suspension components are also unsprung weight, correct? I may be mistaken there, but I thought they were. Either way, yet another...

    Race gas

I think Nick meant a CT-26, the stock turbo, which you don't seem to be running. However, "t3/t4" just tells us you have one of two different footprints for the turbo, doesn't really say much about it at all... You could have a turbo with a T4 footprint that is choked to hell at 25psi, or you...
