    stock dyno numbers

Huh... I never really thought it to be extensive myself. The porting was obviously the most time consuming part, but all that was done was taking away material that Toyota put there, nothing too crazy. I mean, the guy who did it for me knows how to shape a cylinder to match your desired engine...

    1986 AE86 Corolla GT-S Supercharged

I always thought this was to provide longer runners, similar to how NA Supras are setup. Miatas on the other hand, they're not very well insulated from the header, IMO. Best intake I saw for one of those, drew the air from where the hood hinges on the left side of the car, in a nicely sealed off...

This is why IJ over builds everything

Just curious... do you guys do anything else? Seems like every time I hear about Australia, it is one of three things: -Check out this burnout (holy sheeeeet, that guy knows how to roast 'em! :aigo: ) -This MANIAC was doing 36km/h in a 35km/h zone, will someone PLEASE THINK OF THE CHILDREN...

    umm wow!

This is what scares me the most. Around here, they simply put tunnels under the highway every so often, with cameras to monitor their use. Turns out, while deer aren't nature's most wise animals, they do have some survival instinct, and once they figure out where is "safe", they tend to stick to...

Vote to see what photo gets printed first

#4 from this guy, I really like pictures with slightly offset cars though. I'll PM you a link with my car, a picture I took.

    1980 Toyota Cressidia

Is that an ammunition box holding the battery in place? If so... pretty awesome for the aesthetic. Would be a little nervous if it wasn't strapped down pretty good though...

    Supracharged Prerunner

We have an entire subforum dedicated to ECU's below the introduction/build thread sections on the main page of forum listings, perhaps your answer is in that section. No idea personally, sorry...

    Metal Heads Unite!

Just realized another 90's metal band I really like. Type-O Negative. Such a dark sense of humor to that band, I have been a fan since high school.

Upgraded rad and fan for 2j?

Clint, I'm a bit confused here. Why would those cars have the hydrofan ECU? I thought only the 1jz cars ever had the hydro setup... I'll agree that they are a nice setup for keeping cool, but my main issue(s) with them, you can't buy them new anymore, and I sincerely doubt they would fit with...

New to 1JZ swap idea, please help

Well, it is still impressive, considering you're moving an 8000+ lb truck. I still think your buddy needs to learn to drive though, unless you're a hell of a wheel man yourself. :) Try those corners in a Miata with a decent set of tires/alignment sometime. Triple the "suggested" speed is really...

    1JZ Misfiring, Diagnosis

If everything else seems to be correct, then that would be my first guess. Easy thing to check too. Buy a new gauge and a set of plugs while you're at it. Never hurts to carry spares in the car. :)

Fire in the engine bay :(

I would second the idea of a hardline, might fashion it to have a bit of a flexible section. IIRC, the stock line is like that isn't it? Oh, and I'm sure you have figured this out by now, but it's always a good idea to keep a fire extinguisher in older or modified cars. ;)

Is it Possible to swap Valve Covers?

...and about 1/3 as cool as the 5m/6m valve covers. Not even a 1/10 as cool as the old 2m's... ;) Man, you must get exhausted pushing that thing that far at one time...

what is this and where does it go?

I'm thinking this is what we're looking at... I've usually seen them bolted to the alternator though, or at least that's what my memory of the last time I saw an alternator out of a car is telling me anyway.

    stock dyno numbers

Err... did someone install your 7m sideways? :p Back in the 60's/early 70's, sure. My 01 SS was "rated" at 335hp. I forget where the dyno chart ended up, but the car in reality made something like 244whp, or 250whp, something like that. Was kinda sad, but it wasn't in the best of condition...

    Diff/case Upgrades?

Another suggestion, check with these guys, they seem to be doing something right with their car... http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?165301-Monster-Performance-9.73-140mph

What did you do to your supra today? Pics

Welcome to the club. Six years ago, I was in your shoes sir, I knew a little about working on cars, like changing tires, spark plugs, and had recently replaced the water pump on my old TE72 Corolla... then dove head first into the Mk3 world with only basic tools and knowledge. The post below...

    stupid supra problems

If that is the case, do what I do: remove the boost controller during the colder months. You'd be surprised how easily 14psi comes up on you when it's -15°f... Also, I would check to make sure your wastegate isn't shimmed. Previous owner of one of the Mk3's up here had the bright idea to use a...

I uh... might need some new pants Jeff. Thanks for that. ;) Last video doesn't work btw.
